10/2/2023 0 Comments Reaktor blocks expert sleepers![]() I recommend doing searches in the Expert Sleepers thread. To full setup I want to buy audio interface Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 or Motu Ultralite mk4 or maybe other which you will recommend. I use CV Toolkit for that, you said you plan on using Reaktor, which I've heard is awesome. I want to use that for sending make noise DPO, mutable PLAITS to VCA and ADSR by reaktor 6 and from Expert Sleepers, GATE, PITCH, LFO to modules. On top of that, a software program is required to tell what each output of the ES-3 to do (for example, is channel 1 of ES-3 an LFO, envelope, volt per octive signal, etc). So your 18i20 connects to your computer via usb, then adat output provides the ES-3 with its 8 output channels, and adat input to 18i20 accepts the 6 input channels of the ES-6. The 18i20 has 8 outputs and 8 inputs over ADAT. In this video I explore different ways to combine Logic with my Eurorack modular system using Expert Sleepers, Reaktor Blocks, midi sync and few other techni. They require ADAT outputs/inputs to function. It has 8 outputs and 4 inputs, and communicates with a computer via USB, just as the 18i20 does.ĮS-3 & ES-6 do nothing on their own. I always knew that I wanted to build a hybrid system so I wanted Reaktor Blocks to be a big part of my entire Eurorack rig. The next step is to merge my entire Eurorack rig with Reaktor. I finally got an Expert Sleepers ES-8, so that’s definitely territory that I’m looking to traverse into. In this case, you will need to run Reaktor in a DAW and feed its output into the ES-4. I just acquired the hardware to do that yesterday. In the ES line, the ES-8 is the only standalone module. stk wrote: Expert sleepers also has a module that does SPDIF to CV. This is pure hardware stuff, has nothing to do with synth architecture. The pack contains 24 Blocks in total, from fundamental utilities like audio I/O, note in, and MIDI clock, to an accessible range of sound shaping LFOs, ADSR envelopes, VCAs, and step sequencers. New to modular, but understand synthesis wit soft synths. BASE BLOCKS BASE is a free download containing everything you need to start exploring modular synthesis. Thought the other modules like the es-6 are expansions to the es-3 or standalone with USB so a soundcard with ADAT isn't needed. I will be running within Ableton live, and that will only use one audio interface (18i20) I thought it was both in and out of the computer? Djrickdawson wrote:so the es-3 is not standalone then?
